The Grand Finale: The National Ballet at Terre Bleu
We closed out our spectacular 2021 season with a night that nobody will forget. The harmonious sounds of the Guelph Symphony floated through the warm late-summer air as patrons sipped wine and enjoyed their own elegantly assembled personal charcuterie box courtesy of Piatto. An interactive live pilates class was optional to visitors as a warmup to the main event. Guests were awed by the balance of precision and breathtaking artistry demonstrated while they observed a behind the scenes look into an National Ballet apprentice class, and were absolutely astonished during our spectacular pièce de résistance as the dancers took to the stage to rehearse their rendition of Sleeping Beauty with the accompaniment of a live pianist.

Breath of Bleu Experiential Wellness Day
This summer we launched our first ever Breath of Bleu Experiential Wellness Day. Guests immersed themselves in nature to breathe, bend and flow under the open sky. Power Yoga Canada lead their signature Vinyasa Power Flow and Yin Yoga classes and Hoame, North America's largest meditation studio, lead two specialized meditations throughout the day to fully engage visitor’s minds, bodies, and spirits. To further indulge our valued guests, we provided a welcome gift basket containing $65 of premium, small batch Terre Bleu products exclusive to our farm, and offered the option of three delicious and nourishing lunch options catered by local restaurant partner, Union Market Square.
Sunset Picnic: Evening in Bleu
For everyone looking for a unique, unforgettable date night this summer, Terre Bleu had them covered. During our peak bloom, we invited guests to join us among the flowers to take in the setting sun away from the hustle and bustle of city life while enjoying a light spread of Bleum sparkling water, Terre Bleu’s signature lavender gouda and artisanal crackers, finished off with our famous lavender ice cream and a bottle of wine. Can you think of anything more romantic? We sure can’t.
Women's Cycle and Yoga Sessions
Terre Bleu admires the women in our lives and is always looking for ways to empower and appreciate them. Over four Saturdays this summer, we created a safe and inclusive space for women to move their bodies and reconnect with nature at any skill level. These sessions featured beginner-friendly cycling tours through the country roads led by Olympian, Mom and Physiotherapist Isabelle Turcotte Baird and included an option to join part way through for a shorter ride. Following the cycling session, we joined Power Yoga Canada instructors for a yoga class for all levels to stretch, breathe, and flow in the fresh air of our lavender farm. Tickets also included all day access to Terre Bleu for a full day of tranquility.
VIRTUAL Terre Bleu Takes the Cake
This Mother’s Day we cooked up a little something different from your traditional bouquet of flowers. Yellow Door Collective members and additional ticket holders received a culinary gift box with our premium, homegrown organic lavender buds and followed alongside professional baker @Lindseytheflourgirl_’s step by step instructional masterclass to decorate a stunning layered lavender lemon cake with scrumptious buttercream icing from the comfort of their own homes. We couldn’t have had a batter time!
VIRTUAL Bleu Blends Perfumery Workshop
Terre Bleu founder Ian Baird and Lohn co-founders Katerina Juskey and Victoria Mierzwa hosted a scent-sational workshop where our online guests learned the ropes of the art of perfumery and were able to make their own personal perfume oil exclusive to them. Participants also got a deeper look into how Terre Bleu’s organic lavender is grown and distilled through a virtual tour of our fields and on-farm distillery featuring our traditional copper still. For maximum convenience, perfumery kits including nine different essential oils were delivered right to participant’s doorsteps with everything they needed to make their new signature scent.
